Night Lake

Row out onto a dark lake with a lantern, a rod and the feeling that something below is watching.

Night Lake is a calm, eerie fishing game. Cast your float or spin a lure, watch the float bob in the lantern light and strike when it really goes under. Fight each fish with reel and rod: keep the line tension out of the red and lean the rod against the pull. Sell your catch at the dock, buy better baits and tackle, take on quests and unlock new lakes.

But the lake is not empty. The lantern stutters, the crickets fall silent, and a shadow longer than your boat glides underneath. Monsters need their own bait and strong gear, and can tow your boat across the water. Every lake hides a legend waiting for the right bait after midnight.

Controls

Computer: W/S row, A/D turn, or Right Click the water to row there (hold to steer). Hold Left Click on the water to aim, release to cast. Click or Space when the float goes under, then hold to reel in (with a feeder, strike when the bite alarm sounds); hold A/D to lean the rod away from the fish.
